well i don't know about the movie but what i think could be after seeing the trailer is that peter is taken over by the guilt and revenge of the death of his uncle when he discovers that he wasn't the one who killed him.where as te story below is the story in the spider man comics.

In Secret Wars #8 (December 1984), Spider-Man damages his costume in combat and is directed to a facility where he can find a new costume. He activates a machine that releases the symbiote in the form of a black liquid. When Spider-Man touches the liquid, it covers his body and, reacting to Spider-Man's thoughts about the costume worn by the second Spider-Woman, forms a new costume. To Spider-Man's surprise, the costume can mimic street clothes and provides a seemingly inexhaustible supply of webbing.

Once back on Earth, Spider-Man learns the costume is sentient alien symbiote that wishes to fuse permanently with him and often controls him while he sleeps. With the aid of Mister Fantastic, Spider-Man discovers the symbiote is vulnerable to sound, and he uses sonic waves to remove it. The symbiote escapes and attempts to forcibly bond itself to Spider-Man in a church tower. The clanging of the church bells and Spider-Man's rejection of the symbiote, weaken both the alien and Spider-Man. The symbiote, using its remaining strength, carries an unconscious Spider-Man to safety from the bells before it slithers away.
This rejection left the symbiote extremely bitter toward Spider-Man, a trait it would share with its future hosts.

hope this piece of information would be helpful for you take care

When I was a kid, I liked the comic books a lot. I saw the first movie and liked it but now there are so many movies with superheroes that I am tired of some of them.

I like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings movies although the books are far better, real classics.

There have been TV cartoons of Spider Man also which were not very interesting.

I can imagine Venom in a black suite or do you mean black suit?

A suite is like a very fancy apartment so you can imagine him there mixing up new poisons mentally. Now he is imagining his next battle with spider man in which he plans to use a new, almost magic move to inject spider man with his new deadly venom.

Of course he probably will not manage to inject him or if he does Spider Man will find the antidote just before the venom would kill him.

Rupert pretty much nailed the whole Venom part of the story line. It will be interesting to see just what kind of spin that the movie puts on the costume. If you are very interested and want to see for yourself, there is a trade paperback called "Spider-Man vs Venom" that chronicles the story and explains pretty much everything. The story is very good and the artwork by Todd McFarlane is incredible.
In regards to Carnage, the suit finds Eddie Brock while he is in prison with an inmate named Cletus Kassidy. The suit breaks Eddie out but a small piece of it remains behind and joins up with Cletus. Cletus then breaks out and becomes Carnage. Anything beyond that is unknown to me because I quit reading Marvel comics after Spawn came out.

you've somewhat an opinion i will partly trust, even even with the actuality that i love Tobey as Parker. There seems somewhat too a lot emphasis on the romance ingredient of the storyline, yet a great number of the different themes concerning Parker were recent contained in the comedian books, and that i imagine the flicks contemplated that nicely. yet, I lament, as you do, that there merely isn't adequate action, and that i have heard this criticism in the previous, which i will echo. I actually have seen this version of the meant Venom gown, or maybe if it is the only they are going to use, a good number of followers will be dissatisfied. even as i'm no longer a large Venom fan, I even ought to agree-they ought to apply the all black gown with the white spider version because the comedian books or maybe the lively sequence used. Why change it? i am hoping determination 3 employs extra of Spidey in action, and it truly is a threat Raimi has been progression as a lot as this PURPOSELY? We truthfully favor extra Spidey kicking buttock, and spewing his notorious lines hostile to his enemies!!!

venom is an alien parisite that seeks out and attaches to spider man. venom then takes spidey offer and you get the black suit. in the cartoon series in the first transformation into venom spidey drops rino (the big gray guy) from a bell tower while releasing peters mind so he can see how powerful venom is. unfortunatly a ringing bell is the down fall to venom. a few times ltter venom splits and you get carnage a red insane version of venom.
if you look for the long preview for the movie it shows the parasite attaching itself to spideys arm, while peter is laying in bed.

Black SUITE? The word you wrote in your question is pronounced 'sweet', just so you know. The SUIT is an alien. Actually a symbiont that lives off of Peter Parker. Spider Man, the Hulk and others fly out into space to fight the Secret War, during which time the Spider Man SUIT is destroyed. Parker finds this space machine thing that makes him a new SUIT, but in black. When he gets back to earth, the suit increases his speed and strength, but it also inadvertently leads him to a deviant lifestyle. He finally deals with it and uses the vibrations of church bells to get the damn thing off.
At this point, a reporter who hates Spider Man for ruining his career {Spider Man proved one of his stories wrong} named Eddie Brock finds the SUIT, puts it on, and is so weak willed that the alien takes complete control with lots of teeth and a big tongue. This is Spider Mans enemy, VENOM.

I have this terrible feeling that they are just going to butcher up the venom storyline in the upcomming movie. Everyone pretty much explained the story about venom in great detail so there is not to much yet to say.

the reason venom has a black suit is because a symbiote fell from space and and it just happen to hit eddy Brock and when spider man and venom fought it just fell off and hit spider man. ( but in the movie I don't know if they are going to show that because it takes to long and also it comes to spider man in his sleep in the movie) And also if you want to know there is another symbiote that in the comics it comes to Cletus Kasady and is turned in to Carnage and he is red.
