Of the two alternatives, GIVEN, in the question, - I'd HAVE to say JET LI! Jackie Chan is more of a COMEDIAN, - and, he ISN'T that GOOD, at COMEDY, either!!! But, - if you were to ask me, who I thought of, as the BEST martial artist of all TIME? The answer is SIMPLE! The legendary LEE HSIAO LOONG, - (born 27 NOVEMBER, 1940), a.k.a. "LEE YUEN KAM", - but, BEST recognised as BRUCE LEE, - may have been GONE, from this Earth, since 20 JULY, 1973, - but, the LEGEND, that he WAS, will remain, alive, whilst the martial arts are practised!

Jet Li and Jackie Chan has merely made one action picture jointly it is the Forbidden Kingdom. It presented jointly Jet Li followers and Jackie Chan followers so those that like video clips with martial arts in it ought to like this one even if or not they loved Jet Li or Jackie Chan.

Animal Chin was greater than both, (you have to be old school if you get that one)
and the other guy was right Bruce Lee was the greatest ever
but Jacki Chan makes more entertaining movies, but jet Li is a better fighter

Jackie Chan of the two choices but still prefer Bruce Lee above the rest as it is hard to beat the man who brought the Martial Arts to the big screen in the U.S. Mr. Lee opened the way for the rest.

Jacky Chan is the better bigscreen entertainer. Jet Li is the better martial artist. I'm a fan of both.

It depends on what you want. Jackie Chan is a performer, while Jet Li is more of a martial artist. Howerver, if you want stunts, Tony Jaa over either ANY DAY.

Jacki Chan,comical. jet Li stoical. both are great in their field, but i think Jacki Chan comes out first.

Jackie Chan by a long shot. Read the autobiography.
May not be the best fighter of the two, but still the best all rounder.

Very rare they have to put special effect with the chan moves. However, the Jet Li, they seem to swamp his movies with lods of gimmicks!
This makes him look not as good as chan.
Who knows. He's younger so hes bound to be quicker, but i doubt he's got his technique.
