Already doing car boot sales, I have Max factor, Loreal, Olay, Maybelline etc only selling for a pound each but business is very slow. Tried selling in local papers but not much success, so I am really lost. No they have not fallen out of the back of a lorry either.

The only other way really is advertising in the Loot or your local newspaper. Or at a jumble sale! Unless of course you know of any independent shops that sell make-up, in which case you could sell it to them at whole sale price.

If you're not using an auction site, you can either sell wholesale or to consumers.

If it's the former, put an ad for the whole lot in a newspaper.

If it's the latter, take the makeup to car boot sales in your area. It's always a good seller.

Thats one way goods were sold before internet auction sites.

What's wrong with a online auctions site? You're going to struggle any other way, these days. You can try adverts in the local papers, I guess - or hold your own jumble sale?

Car boot or wait for the circus to come to town, and flog it to them! ;-)
