go to the directory where your windows 3.11 is installed (using the cd command) and type
win
then press enter

ooh Iove hearing about people still using good 'ol DOS.
The standard command to get windows to start is "win". Depending on what version of dos you have, you might have to specify "C:\> C:\Windows\Win"
If you want to make windows start up automatically when you turn on your computer, add the "win" command to the end of your autoexec.bat file.
