I felt my daughter move at around 9weeks..and I was shocked. She was approx an inch long( head to tail) during my scan ( 12 week) she was exactly where I had felt it. She is my 3rd. It is possible you are further on than you think, the bleed you had may have been the implanting bleed that can sometimes happen. Do talk to your midwife, they are used to scatty pregnant women. She will probably feel your tummy and will get a better idea just how far on you are. Try not to worry and all the best x

If you tell the midwife you are unsure when your last period was then she should be able to send you for a dating scan, i had a period when i was a couple of weeks pregnant with my 2nd son. Trust me the midwife will not think you are a fool she will have been asked the same thing many times i had to have dating scans with all 3 of mine. Never be afraid to ask, thats what the midwife is there for.

just explain to her when you last had a period, its more than likely that she will ask you anyway so theres no avoiding it really.
if you last had a period in december and that was very light then its possible that you had only just become pregnant in december and should be about 2 nearly 3 months gone. also look at how big you are, you should be starting to round out a bit now. if youre still unsure just talk to your midwife and she will help not make you feel like an idiot or type in on google how to calculate how pregnant you are and see what the results are.
good luck with the pregnancy

My heart goes out to you, sweetie! Honestly, if you were my daughter, we would be going to get you an abortion. ...but that's just my personal feelings, as I don't see anything wrong with terminating a pregnancy when the patient is so young. Try to see the situation outside of yourself; if your friend came to you with this problem, what would you tell her? Your mom is unsupportive (she may come around eventually) and your boyf is being irresponsible (and probably will be after you give birth). No teen is equipped to care for babies...you are in for a long hard road. For your own quality of life, you MUST finish school (and go to college hopefully) which will be very hard if you must care for a baby. Perhaps you really should consider some of the alternatives...esp since you have no help. Perhaps exploring an OPEN adoption would be for you? You will know the family who adopts your child, you will get to visit and recieve pictures and updates on your childs progress. You would still be in your child's life, but your child will be better cared for by a family that really wants (an can afford) a baby. You will also be able to live your life and finish school, get a good career and not have to struggle. You really must talk with your family AND your boyf's family (with him or without him) and force them to see that this isnt going away. Your boyf's parents will most likely talk some sense into him. You also must seek the advice of professionals; planner parenthood counselor, a shrink ect. Dont skimp on pre-natal care--get your mother or a trusted older friend to go with you. You're running out of time and soon the decision will be made for you.

Probably wind. But...you need to be very honest about your last period so that when it comes time to measure and such your midwife will know it could be a little off. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Movement could also be your organs making way for your growing uterus.
Happy pregnancy.

Normally you don't feel movement till about 4 months so it is highly unlikely that that's what you would have felt. More likely to be wind or bowel disturbance. Your midwife will keep you right, and your first scan will give you an accurate estimated time of delivery.

You should ask your midwife, they get asked all sorts of questions but i felt my baby at 12 weeks! The midwife never believed ti until she felt it for herself, pregnancies aren't always textbook!!!
