here are some effective methods for removing Blackheads:
It is most important to keep the skin scrupulously clean.
1. Use an oatmeal or almond mask thoroughly to cleanse your face. Mix either oatmeal or almond powder with enough rose water to make a soft paste that spreads easily on the skin. Rub it on your skin with your fingertips, paying special attention the problem areas. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.
2. Apply undiluted lemon juice, two to three times a day, on the affected areas.
3. A solution made out of one and a half cups of hot water and half a tablespoon of boric powder is an ideal concoction for blackheads, Saturate a face napkin in this hot solution and press on to the skin, repeat twice. Extract blackheads carefully with a blackhead remover and sterilized cotton wool. Pat on an astringent.
4. Warm a little honey and apply on the trouble spots. Wash off after 10-15 minutes.

Iz is talking nonsense with all these home remedies that are only going to irritate your skin. Although you don't use a moisturizer I would recommend it, because oily skin is just working extra hard to moisturize itself, if you added hydration, your oil glands wouldn't feel the need to work so hard! Try pore strips for the blackheads around the nose, and use a product with Salicylic Acid. It helps to exfoliate the skin and unclog pores. Also, exfoliate daily to get rid of excess built up dead skin, which is what causes blackheads in the first place. Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub exfoliates AND has Salicylic Acid! Yay

You could buy the pore strips or you can make your own. Just mix 1 Tablespoon of Knox unflavored gelatin with 11/2 Tablespoons milk. Put in microwave for 10 to 15 seconds. Let cool slightly and apply to the entire nose. Leave until dry and peel off. You will be surprised at the gunk that comes out of your pores. Also you need to use a good astringent on this area, just not right after using any pore strip. OUCH! Witch hazel or plain peroxide works well for blackheads, no alcohol.

I use an international product called Biore. I've been using it for years. Biore pore unclogging scrub. Always remember that blackheads are simply clogged pores. You can also use any brand of "peel off" facial mask weekly. It pulles the black heads right out and also exfoliates the skin. Don't forget that it takes time to improve your face with any product. There is no such thing as overnight change. Good luck!

i'm not sure on the brand but there is a product for that. a sort of nose patch. its a cream thing at first. you put it on your nose and it turns to a sort of film. after a few minutes you peel it off and the blackheads go away with it. very safe and effective. i used it a couple of times only because i only have blackheads when i have my period so i do not really know the brand.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.
