In any war situation people are operating under extreme stress.
The margin of error is sometimes only seven hundredths of a second. If you get it wrong on first glance you are dead.
In all wars there are casualties to friendly fire.I would think there has been a break down in friendly fire. There almost certainly will be a military enquiry. It is not just the americans.
Ignore the stupid answer you got .He is just picking up the odd point.

Its difficult to understand how orange polygon marker panels could be confused with rockets which are cylindrical! Its pointless discussing charges against the pilots as the US government will never allow it. Strange allies!

Yes, it's not the first time we have had a "blue on blue"by the Americans, it happened also in the first Gulf War. Given their technology it is nothing short of incompetence.

Yes I think they should face manslaughter charges. They committed a crime and shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

Everybody knows that the Americans do not have the sense that they were born with. My advice to any soldier is when you see an American nearby you in a war zone keep your distance the next person that they kill might be you.

..As true today as it was then.
