Have I ever gotten a job I wanted without a little white lie ? Of course not.
I have to pretend I'm mature and care about customer service each time I need work.

No, can't say that I have. I think if I did that I'd be paranoid all the time that people would find out the truth and I'd get fired, which would make me pretty ineffective at my job.

No, but I lied to keep from going in once when my boss called on my day off.
"Is Bill there?"
"Who's calling please?"
"Mr. Larrabee from the restaurant. I want to see if he can come in."
"I'm sorry, he's gone for the day. I don't expect him back until late."
"Thanks."
"Bye."
