Alright, JK rowling has told everyone that 2 main characters will die in the final harry potter, who do you believe will die. also, me and my friends have a bet going on rather or not Dumbledore is really dead, what are your takes on that also.

alright, the last i checked JK rowling said that she could kill harry, but she never confirmed it. so lets rule putting harry automatcally down.

My guess it would be Harry and Voldemort. I think of Voldemort's soul (1 Holcrux) resides I Harry's body. Just guessing!

Actually, if anyone has read the quote properly, she said that two MORE people than she planned on dying will die, and one got a reprieve.
"Jo: The final chapter is hidden away, although it has now changed very slightly. One character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die ..."

So this means that guesses including Voldemort and Harry would basically be ruled out, as we can assume she would have had these planned out before. I think it is a possibility that at least one Weasley will not make it through to the end. Other than that, though, I don't like to speculate on who might not make it! Much too sad... (I think the reprieve might have gone to Draco, though.)
Also, Dumbledore has died. His portrait might be interesting to talk to, but I don't think he'll be coming back in any other capacity:

so she will choose bitween ron &hermione.
i think that she didn't really kill dumbledore she just want us to feel that harry is going to be alone..and find the horokrox alone
so i think one of the characters will die trying to help harry...

dumbledore is really dead as for is going to die, think that harry will die because of voldemort ( even though i don't want him to die) and then neville will end up killing voldemort.

I will say this now.........Snape will sacrifice himself to save Harry ..........This will be the only way Harry finally excepts Snape to be good.
