Try to put yourself in his shoes and remember what it was like when you were his age. Do the things with him that you would have enjoyed. Reading books and homework help is a good place to start. Outdoor activities, throwing balls, basketball walking etc are also good.

The most important thing is to make sure he realizes that you love him. Little brothers can sometimes be a BIG burden, one that we never asked for. So to be supportive, you have to understand that you are the role model for him from this point out, because you are the older sibling.
Your parents are asking you to be more supportive, so show them you can step up to the plate by doing even simple small things like- play baseball with him, push him on the swing set, let him play a video game with you, tell him what you learned at school that day, or read him a book.
I work at Barnes and Noble and i have alot of people ask me for books that siblings can read to younger siblings. I always suggest this one:
My Little Brother

Good luck and have an awesome day!

While he's watching TV one day or whatever, sit down next to him, put your arm around him, and plant a big kiss on top of his head. Then tell him that he's special to you or whatever you feel like. Just a suggestion...

Spend more time with him. Encourage him to do the best he can, and help him to achieve his goal. Be their for him., encourage him to try again and ask him what he thinks went wrong. You both will learn a valuable lesson in this together.
