Lots of tips. If your hair needs major help, try Redken EXTREME Cat treatment. Usually this is available only through salons. If your hair needs moisture, shine, and softness, try Garnier Fructis Fortifying Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 Minute Masque 5oz - it's awesome and fairly inexpensive (and pretty accessible in most groceries or drugstores). In a hurry? Got mayo (real mayo)? You can use it, though it can leave a scent in your hair. Got hard water? Occasionally put some white vinegar in your hair/scalp before shampooing and conditioning (rinse it before shampooing). Again there's the scent to deal with, but it's awesome for softening hair and restoring it if there's gunk in it (chemicals) from hard water (unhealthy metal deposits, for example). Those are some helpful basics. May you soon have happy hair! Note: The recommendation of Suave is fine for some things, indeed. (Good note there!) The Coconut version can double as a good body wash; it seems gentle enough to have few irritants. But for 'deep' conditioning, that Garnier masque is QUITE helpful (and CAT is unbeatable with regard to repairing hair).

I use suave the products to wash and shampoo they work great, they leave my hair soft shiny and free of tangles and they are much cheaper that name brand products that can be a bit expensive for something that you are going to wash down the drain. For styling products, I purchase my items from a salon shop, and I have found Ion products to be. the best

pantenne conditioner is fantastic, my hair is quite dry and breaks easy so the dry damaged one is great for my hair it makes it feel so healthy and soft and shiny.
for normal hair the pantenne ice shine one is fantastic also.

I also use charles worthington leave in moisture seal conditioner it protects my hair when I straighten and stops it going horrible and dry.
