No, Phil did not see his shadow. An early spring though? Maybe March 19th, at best. It's a -6F where I live right now and no relief in sight

The ground hog did not see his shadow. Apparently spring is around the corner, although won't offcially be here for 6 weeks.

I would not trust that ground hog. In the 100 plus years that they have been doing it, he has only been right about 20 percent of the time.

Phil didn't but try to remember what the weather was like at your house that day. In NE Iowa it was moonlit and then totally sunny on Feb 2 so our groundhog would have seen his shadow. Your mileage may vary for your locale.
