If you like smallville you may like other slightly complicated story line tv shows like any of the HBO ones (six feet under, sex and the city, sopranos if you are okay with vulgarity, big love) also desperate house wives, and grey's anatomy. The main thing is to buy something you are going to watch more than once for whatever reason.

You can't buy the first season of The Vampire Diaries yet because only half of the season has aired. The other half will start again on January 21st in the United States.
