mine has been out of work for 6 years does nothing around the house except drink and smoke with his mates who are also out of work. please help any suggestions would be apecated. ive tried nagging and getting mad but that doesnt make any difference.

um.. nagging and getting mad isn't never a good way to go about getting something done..
i mean when your younger and your parents nagged and got mad at you that didn't really help you get the motivation to do what they wanted you to do did it?
maybe hold out on sex untill he gets his act together.. stop doing the house work around the house.. don't cook his food for him..
i mean if he's at home all day start treating him like a "house wife"
and maybe he'll get his act together

At first I was going to say What is he a dog, but reading further it seems to me like he is a dog!!! After 6 years not working why are you with this man. Do you love him? It seems to me that this dog needs to go the pound. Tell him to **** or get off the pot. You deserve better. It sounds to me like you are a wimp when it comes to him. Why would he work when you have taken no serious action to motivate him. You are a push over. Help yourself and move on.

The bigger question is are you enabling him to continue by providing the income to the family and keeping it together? He has his support group also encouraging him to be a loser in life. He needs to lose the so called friends and get work.
If you don't have children, I would consider divorce if your husband is unable to hold up his end of the marriage.
Seek marriage counseling if you want to work things out or divorce if you don't.

Nagging never fixes anything, you want him trained then do so. Whip out your thigh high boots and tie him up and beat him till he begs you to let him get back to work. Plus it might also get you a more obident husband too.

Try packing your shitt and leave his sorry ***!!! you cant honestly tell me you are happy in this marriage, just wasting your time with a useless man you can even count on to take you to burguer king cause he aint got no job.. maybe if you leave he will wake up and get his sorry asss up and work and then you can give him another try.. a lazy man is for damn sure a turn off, dont you agree?? leave is my advice and if he doesn't react to this then go on living by your self. until you find a hard working man who loves you and consider your feelings. good luck hon.

there is no secret...some men act like animals but they're really human. 6 years out of work ...how can you afford it? sorry that's not my business. you can start by closing your house to his friends...let them meet up in the streets or at their houses. if your tired of this mess...either give him the boot or accept that he's on a long running binge and suffer if you must.

6 YEARS?!!! Why are you still with him? Love or not, it is time for you to go. Your hubby is a useless parasite. Pack you kid (if any) and move out - or throw all is clothes etc out on the frint lawn while he is out drinking with the boys....
