....... and i dont want no one to copy and paste it onto their own computer. I am using Macomedia 8. The file is .jpg.

My question is how do i stop people copying and pasting my company logo and other pictures on to their own computer.

There are free javascripts which can disable the left click so that nothing can be copies from your page. Do a google search for "javascripts".

Or, a more elegant method, is to convert the picture so a flash animation (even if it is just a still picture). You can prevent flash animations from being downloaded.

well, I am not sure how to disable copying but I am sure it would be in the code of the site, so I would search for java or html or whatever programming code to find it. If you are using something like frontpage I think it might be a little harder than that. But, why limit the use of the company logo? If anyone were to use it on their website it would just be an advertisement for the company. Why not add to the uploaded image
(possibly saved as a seperate file) the actuall name of the company included with the logo. That way they would be synonymous and would be used less.
