Without a shadow of a doubt it's.... 'My Bonnie'
Brian Epstein was managing several record shop. He became intrigued when several people came in asking for copies of 'My Bonnie'. He tracked down the group responsible and found that they played at a local club called 'the cavern'
Brian Epstein made the Beatles

The Beatles were marvellous, they were ahead of their time. they were trendsetters...yes, yes, yes... But without the right management to start them off, who knows where they would have got to.

My Bonnie... In my opinion, THE song that made the Beatles Famous

Love Me Do (Nov 62) was a top 20 UK hit, Please Please Me (Feb 63) was their first No 1 (tho' there was more than one 'official chart' at the time). From then until Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane (Feb 67) all their singles made the top spot.
The Americans took a little longer to get into them, but after performing I Wanna Hold Your Hand on the Sullivan Show in Feb 64 a lot of the back catalogue was re-released, and in March they held the entire top 5 in the States.

Love Me Do 1962 - was the first single, which most certainly made them famous, but they were already gaining fame for their music before making a record

I thought it was Love Me Do, and they have plenty more good songs which is the reason that they will remain famous for years to come.

Big black mark to Karebear for saying "Imagine".

I agree with the person who said "My Bonnie". If Raymond Jones hadn't gone into Brian Epstein's shop and asked for it, we may never have heard of the Beatles.
