Hunger is a problem in all countries, not just third world ones. Why else would we have food banks and charity drives? In third world countries there are a lot of other problems that cause hunger that they are not equip to deal with such as drought, insects, sickness. If there is no water, it doesnt matter how much land there is, nothing will grow. Developed nations are better equiped to handle such situations than are third world countries. As for population limites, thats a personal opinion. Some people say we are over populated right now, others say we wont be until every square inch of earth is covered with people. Bioengineering may provide some solutions, but it may also introduce some issues and consequences that havent been discovered yet.
