Two excellent films that make you belive in God are
1) The Message
2) The Lion of The Desert
Both starring Anthony Quinn and both being based on true events.

Depends which God you had in mind. Also, does a Holywood, or Bolywood movie enhance belief? The pat answer would be All, since they are reflections of Gods creation and therefore prove the creators compassion etc.

I don't watch movies, (except Babe, and Shrek). If you payed attention during The Passion (I am told) you would have heard that the name of the Savior was not the pagan name "Iesus" but YAHOSHUA! The name of the creator is not 'god'- for if that is a name it too is a pagan name- but YHVH. He is very clear in Ex. 23:13 that His followers will not call Him by pagan names.

Joshua is a Religious film which I enjoy watching several times. and you might consider Ben Hur and the Ten Commandments. Quo Vadis is another Religious type film.

The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe (Chronicles of Narnia) is an allegorical story about Christ (without actually having anything to do with Jesus). It may be what you're looking for.
