Going for 2 weeks in July and want to see at least 3 islands. I love snorkelling and I'm not that interested in the whole night life vibe

Zakynthos, Zante, is my dream holiday. There is so much to do and lots of things to see. The small unhabitated island of Marathonissi is situated opposite Keri Bay and is only accessible by boat. Its amazing greenery and stunning rock formations and caves and beautiful sandy beaches will make you feel as though you are on an island in paradise. The people are so friendly and every thing is so relaxed. It's a definite place to go.

The water is very clear around most islands. The cyclades are beautiful and easy to get from island to island as they are quite close. I personally love the Dodecanese islands as they differ in character from each other greatly, Halki is tiny and very friendly, though not very green. Made up for by the constant smell of fresh herbs as you walk across the rocks. Symi has a beautiful harbour, with traditional houses piling up the steep hillsides overlooking the harbour. Tilos is very green and fertile and Rhodes has masses of history, though avoid Faliraki if you don't want the heavy night life scene. The people are fantastic, the weather fabulous, the water clear...You may now have realised that I love the greek islands!!

Greece is wonderful and whereever you go I am sure you'll love it. For ease of travelling my suggestion is fly to Athens and explore the Argo Saronic Gulf. You can spend time on 3 or 4 islands very easily (and fairly cheaply). Aegina, Poros, Hydra and Spetses. All wonderful and different in their own way. Aegina is close to Piraeus - only 25 mins by hydrafoil - Spetses the furthest away but reachable in a couple of hours on hydrafoil.

If you don't want mad night life then you must avoid Myconos and Ios.
Santorini and Zante are beautiful, you can snorkel , find amazing views...

There are 3000 islands. They are ALL beautiful! I have been to only 186 and I could NOT recommend one over the other.

That is such a hard one to answer because they are all beautiful.
Zante, Kos, Lesbos especially. The southern part of Crete is largely tourist free but hard to get to.
Enjoy your holiday, wherever you decide to visit.

I went to Corfu which I found dirty and would never go there again. Years before that I went to Knossos in Crete, great place.
