How much does a recruitment consultant/agency charge when he/she places a permanent role - specifically IT staff in banking. Whats the going rate?

Normally around 15-17% of the person's salary - if it's London or a more senior role it could be 20% or even more.

we charge 17% of the salary. its a set fee and does not affect the salary of the candidate. we are given the job specs with salary already on. therefore our rates have already been negotiated. however the exact percentage negotiated with employers differs from agency to agency. don't worry though it won't affect what you get!

easily a large FRAUD! Me too, have been given the comparable email letter. wish the British government could discover tips on a thank you to give up such rip-off as this could impact their credibility and to guard the welfare of their united states as an entire.....

Depends if you looking for a job....zero....the future employer pays. If you are an employer then it varies with industries and the level of senority
