It's French and means a track or ski run. It has evolved to mean a track on a CD as well.

hi, i believe you heard that word from a Filipino? I'm a Filipino and in our language, it means "pest". The person you heard that from is probably in a foul mood and is unhappy with you.
It is a Cebuano word, it is ubiquitous here as compared with the American swear word "****!".. :)
We use that word specially when we're upset, angry, or just plain pissed.
Hope this helps.. :)
