Yes of course! and if you practice obviously your inteligence will increase because that is what I.Q. means: INTELIGENCE QUOTA. Anyway now i have that out of the way, i will tell you some ways to improve: Crosswords, Puzzles, Sudoku, and amongst other things there is the brain training games on the Nintendo DS and Playstation PSP, there is also some good books out there. Hope that this is of some help and good luck!

Yes it is, because by doing various puzzles you learn to identify different methods of solution so practice makes perfect, as they say. However IQ can also vary by the nature of the test - I have seen a variance of 30 points on my own IQ between two different tests taken 3 months apart.

IQ tests are pretty arbitrary. you can easily improve your score by practicing them. there is a "knack" to them. it has been proven that some parts of society do really badly on IQ tests due to them being unfamiliar with the style of questioning and therefore it may not be a true measure of your actual intelligence.

Practice will improve your ability to solve these problems. It won't increase your intelligence but could increase your score on IQ tests.
IQ declines after age 21, but you can train your brain and still appear more intelligent as you will have more knowledge and experience.

Of course. IQ is just a test result, any one can improve upon that with work.

yes. Clearly, many people have a higher IQ when they are 39 or 40 then when they were infants, so that proves it.
