Its hard to say.......am I tempted now to do what God has told me not to do, even take a simple apple from a tree? Times were different then but there are so many more temptations now.....did you watch that fashion thing on TV and wish you had that dress, or American Idol and wished you had that voice? Or were you telling people about Jesus and living a virtuous life? If Satan, the crafter of lies were to tempt you right now, you would probably not even know the difference until God came to you and asked, "why are you hiding from me?"

Good question, but the answer is inside of us and only God knows our hearts, thankfully He judges us and not Satan, who would, just like a modern attorney, point out every little thing we have ever done wrong. The key is coming to God through Jesus Christ as the savior. Only then are we exempt from Satan, the DA of the spiritual kingdom.

I visited the Garden of Eden about a year ago and was surprised how this oasis of sorts had grown in such an arid wasteland, I ate an apple whilst I was there but it was mine and I brought it along with me, the only thing bad about the place was that the German tourists kept leaving their rubbish everywhere!

well i wouldve been very doubtful and i wouldve kept dismissing the snake, but eventually, i wouldve caved and given into the temptation of the forbidden apple, not because im weak, but because there are only 2 people in the garden of eden at the time of this commited sin, and that is what people do
they get influenced by good and evil, and they fail to stick to their morals

but it had to happen
it was destiny
if it didnt happen u and i would have been in very different places at this exact moment

Definately tempted by the apple, but would hand it to Adam to take the first bite in case something bad happened - would happen to him first rather than myself

Women has had power over men since the beginning. You know what really happen. Eve told Adam that he wouldn't get any if he did take a bite. I think every man would eat the apple if they knew they were going to get lucky!

I would have been MORE tempted by the apple than Adam. He doesn't do a thing for me!

No, I don't think so. One reason is that it's not actually apple and it was not mention in the Bible that the forbidden fruit is actually apple. Maybe it was something not attractive to eat or not known to be edible, so I might hesitate eating that fruit.

I would have much more tempted by Eve...though SHE probably would have gone for the apple first. Just my luck!

Yes...

Adam acted as our "seminal head" not our "federal head". We are not subject to the fall of man simply because he made a decision for us (federal). Rather, we are LIKE Adam in our sin nature and are subject to the same failure that he was (seminal). In otherwords, it is like we committed the original sin ourselves. We are without excuse and can't "blame" Adam for screwing up.
