Just different strains / breeds / crosses (whatever you want to call it) just like you can get different colour roses etc.

The green one has lots of chlorophyll (green pigment), the red has more carotine (orange) and xanthophyll (yellow) as well as chlorophyll.
These pigments all are used to make energy from sunlight.
