Ok, I'm in eighth grade.
All my older sisters and brothers are super smart. They ALWAYS get 3.8 or higher. It doesn't even seem like they struggle in any subject.
Unfortunetly, I'm not the same way. I always recieve 1 C on my report card from one subject and I get a 3.0-3.2 for my G.P.A.
My problem is I struggle for every subject. MOSTLY MATH!
I had a math test and the day before my sister helped me study for it, and we studied together for over an 1 and a half. I nailed everything. I was so excited to go to school the next day, because I wanted to show my teacher how I WILL get EXCELLENT grades from now on. I thought I did great on the test.
When I recieved it back I got a 70%. I was so dissapointed I started crying real bad. Why is this so hard for me. For everyone in my family and all my friends its soooo easy for them.
What do I do?
I CAN NOT DO THIS NEXT YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL! PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE!

See practice makes one perfect. You need not born itelligent only thing is industry . Work harder and harder with full determination , do not get upset over failures because they are stepping stones for success. Go to anybody and everybody who has an inclination to teach you the subject and get all the tips from them. Stop all your other activities and just study, study and study that all you will conquer even himalayas. All the best.

I really felt sorry for you darling, I know math is a hard one because almost all of my subjects when I was studying engineering are involves numbers, What did I do is I always study, i did lots of practice before i go for examination, I borrowed different books from library and i study what are the possible problems that could encounter during examination. Dont focus on your book. Search from the other books..Make some more practice on solving because this is the only tool to become smart of your weaknesses.

there are several things you can do.
first thing is not to compare yourself to anyone else, you are who you are and God made you that way. You might struggle in school but I bet if you think about it a bit, you'll find you have other gifts that your brothers and sisters don't.
Change your perspective on what you have accomplished, a 3,0 gpa is great!! Be proud of that!
Study more if you like, but dont make it your life. Yes it is important to do well in school but you'll do better when you have a relaxed attitude about it.
One method for studying that still works for me is reading things over right before you go to bed. You'll be syrprised what you know in the morning.
Another thing I do is not study or cram the night before, because you'll stress out and when your brain is stressed it forgets. Study couple hours a night for a week before and relax and get a good sleep before a test. Trust me you'll do better!
Good luck!

No two people are the same. Your sibs might be very bright in math and you will always have to work harder at it but that doesn't mean that they are "smarter" than you. You are still growing mentally & physically and you will at some point realize your strengths and their weaknesses because we all have them. Also, you might want to get math help from other people and sources. Do you know how many people have said that they can't learn math & then they found a person who processed it in their head the way that made sense to them & then they were able to

I know how it feels, i couldnt do any maths at all no matter how much my teachers explained it to me until my boyfriend helped me.

In my opinion it is all about who teaches you and how they do it, because learning things is different for everyone. No 2 people share the same brain so our learning capacitys are completely different.

Ask a few friends/relatives for some help and find someone who suits your learning skills.

I hope this helps :)

Understanding probleme is a great thing,
1,5 hour is just opening book and looking through,
In study there is only one way to succeed,
study at least 3 hours math, and others for 2 h. minimum.
study not only textbook, but other materials too.
Believe me, nobody can help you, only you !.

Don't worry so much about it, your stressing yourself too much to concentrate.
