...and thank God for his victory, shouldn't you just change the channel and shut up about it?

That's what I was told when I said I didn't want to see Janet Jackson's bare **** on TV...

You actually pay heed to televangelists? Yikes! Even the most serious evangelicals and pentacostals who have proselytized to me in the past stay away from those scam artists!!

I am not religious, but I do not feel myself ill used when someone else proclaims their faith. I think it is a positive thing when people have something to believe in and are not afraid to express it. We have gone over the deep end in this country in how we perceive insult. There are people who want to erase all religion from the public scene feeling that they should not have to be bothered by it. These people whine and complain about how they are being inconvenienced, but never give a second thought to inflicting the same insult on others. It saddens me that some cannot just ignore that which they do not like, especially when the message they are decrying is very positive in nature. Congratulations to Tony and The Colts on their victory, it was a long time coming and I cannot think of many more deserving.

You are 100% correct it seems that there is room for every faith in America except Christianity these days. It has become great sport to bash us for the media and yet it seems that every professional liar (politicians especially Democrats) wants to pander to us when trying to get elected. I cant imagine how on earth it is even a consideration to put a mosq in a football stadium or to "officially" recognize Kwanzaa as a real Holiday (even if you do know it was an invention of the black panthers) but we can not have the word Christmas on a banner at the mall or have a nativity scene on the lawn of a town hall. This country must begin to wake up and embrace by the people for the people and you know what MOST of ":the people" are Christians.

I'm not a Christian myself but I see nothing wrong with Coach Dungy expressing his beliefs on TV. Unlike the loser leftys, I think America could use a few more role models who can be looked up to. I guess anytime someone expresses a belief in a higher power, the losers on the left are outraged. Too bad for them, they contribute nothing to society anyway.

Turn the channel. I think it's a breath of fresh air to here something positive and uplifting for a change instead of bragging after a win or blaming someone else for losing. Tony Dungy is a good and decent man. Don't ruin the moment for the rest of us who sometimes find overpaid, spoiled athletes and coaches equal to politicians--full of "hot air" for a better use of words.

Amen Brother! And Thank God that Tony Dungy and the Colts ownership proudly proclaims Jesus Christ publicly. Bye bye Satan and all his followers!

Absolutely, but I would rather see her **** on TV, then listen to a coach say anything. Sports hero's are false hero's. They contribute very little to society.
