I don't know much about buying those, but we actually make small (or large) mosaics with faux (fake) stones like turquoise and other simulations using polymer clay.
In other words, polymer clay can be made to look like many types of gem stones and other materials by using special techniques and sometimes special materials (easily available)... some of the things it can be made to look like (quite convincingly) are:
turquoise
ivory ... and bone
jade
coral ...& cinnabar & carnelian
amber
lapis lazuli
malachite
azurite, hematite
quartz
marble, alabaster
opal .... pearl, abalone
moonstone, labradorite
white shell
tiger eye
agate
rock-like rocks & stones
...granite, sandstone, pebbles, etc.
metals ...gold, silver-pewter, copper, verdigris
wood... and cork, etc.
raku... faience & glazes
terra cotta, earthclay
lava
leather
clear gems & stones
dichroic glass
So these fauxs could be made with polymer clay in the form of small pebbles, or they can be made as sheets which are then cut or broken up into small pieces, and then used in mosaics as chips or tiles, etc.
After baking the clay, grouts for the pieces could be ordinary grout, or softened polymer clay, or tinted liquid clay, etc.... or the pieces could be left without grout. perhaps placed close together or not.
Since you're making jewelry, I'm assuming that many of the tiles/chips/etc used for making regular mosaics would be too big.
There's lots of info on making the materials I mentioned above, as well as how to make mosaics with polymer clay, on these pages:

* polymer clays must be heat cured to harden... they never "dry" out... the average time and temperature are about 275 degrees F for 10-45 minutes depending on thickness and brand (this is usually done in a home oven or toaster oven)
** some brands of polymer clay are Premo, FimoClassic, Kato Polyclay, and Cernit... those are the strongest brands
...the weaker brands (though it may not matter for mosaics) are Sculpey and FimoSoft

Request a catalog from Rio Grande at riogande.com or 1800-545-6566. They are a jewelry supply company and they'll have what you need. You could also try a bead store. If the stones are larger than you want you can smash them with a hammer into smaller more useable pieces. As far as the "adhesive"...go to any store that carries tile. They will have the glue to adhere the pieces and the grout that fills in the spaces. Google an artist named Mary Kanda. She does some amazing work with mosiac jewelry. You'll probably really love her stuff.

I think you are right! I have always seen the logic in getting back to worshiping God they way Jesus worshiped Him! I have never rejected OT. In fact, I love the whole Bible! etc. I am sure Paul would have told some of the churches that I have been to that they needed to "REPENT"! They are filled with people who delight in dead religion! Legalism was a big issue in Jesus' day as well. He really told religious leaders who were too focused on being legalistic that they were neglecting the real meaning of the Law. Sitting in church does not make one any more of a Christian then sitting in a hospital makes me a doctor! One must make a search for pure worship that is acceptable to God! Thank you for making this observation! I totally agree! Tammy, you are so wrong! The Jews did not crucify Jesus! He came to die for us. We ALL put him on the cross! The Romans were the ones that crucified Christ. The high priest and Herod were political appointments made by non other than Rome! Jerusalem was under Roman rule at the time! That is why they were afraid to seize Christ during the Passover! They were afraid the Jewish people would rebel. Why? Because the crowds gathered to be taught by Jesus and loved him. They even wanted to make him king. But he would not have it! You must remember that Christ had 12 Apostles who were all Jewish as well as the first Christian congregations! It does not look like a large number of the Jews at that time rejected Jesus to me!

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/10WEn
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.
