I want to know what type of clothing will be suitable for daytime and in the evenings in Athens and for visits to adjacent tourist spots.What would be the temp range during the last week of March 2007?

It could be cold, like wintery. Often March is cold, you need long sleeved clothes, wooly jumpers and coats. But technically it is springtime, so you may find nice weather, sunshine, and perhaps warm weather. On March 25th it is our national holiday (for independence, like 4th of july), and I remember when I was at school we always arranged to wear a uniform including a jumper over our shirt, but it always was too hot for that, and we took it off and stayed with the shirt only.

That is the one month I don't think I have been there, but was there Jan/Feb and it was very wintery then. I would think use layers with warm jacket for March. Nights can get really cool up until later on. I just always plan on layers to be on safe side though. I found though they wear coats much later than we do here in states. I was in long sleeves or light jackets one year and they all were still wearing their heavy coats and that was in April.. A lot depends on what type temp you are use to or how cold natured you are.

March is a fickle month and it could be very cold, at times close to 0 C. Or it could be mild, one never knows about March so it will be best to consult the weather forecast for the week and carry some warm clothes just in case.

I was there second half of April last year , and as far as I can remember, here is what I got :
-Athens : sunny, 15-20 C ( one day it was obviously quite above 20C ) during daytime. Need a coat in the evening; specially one day the north wind was blowing and we really felt cold.
-Nafplio, Epidavros : similar . But it started raining when we left Nafplio and temperature felt probably below 15C.
-Delphi : somewhat cloudy, 10-15C during daytime. Coat mandatory in the evening (but walks outside are pretty limited in the venening).
-Meteors : rain, fog, cold : much less than 10 C.
But it was one month after the date of your trip. So, probably it will be somewhat cooler.
