This girl i've been seein 4 bout 5 months is tellin me shes pregent. She said she was on the pill and i still used a jonny anyways. It bust the one time i can remember and yesterday she phnd me talkin bout shes had 3 tests and they're positive, i didn't belive her so i made her do 1 while i was outside the bathroom and its true. This girl is not even ma girlfriend, she ent met my family and i wouldnt want her too i dont c her like that and she knows this. I told her i don't want a baby im 21 n still got my life ahead of me shes sayin shes keepin the child whethetr i like it or not n i beta support her or she'l take me to the child support agency shes only bout 2 mths i told her i'll support her through an abortion but shs jus bein nasty n tryin to trap me but im not interested what do u lot think?

Look you should tell your parents and her parents tell them how you feel and how she feels and that you was using precautions, if you don;t want this child you don't have to she will have to raise it on her own

Oh dear - that's a bad one. Not much you can do if she wont have an abortion. If I was her, I wouldnt want the kid without the support of the father but this girl is obviously different. I think you really need to get legal help to find out how much this is likely to cost you. Just remember one thing though, if you done support the kid or become part of their life, then in future years if you want a relationship with the child it may not want to know you.

You're right. but sounds as she's out to screw you now that you screwed her. Was she really on the pill? Is the child yours? Why won't she have an abortion? Law concerning child support should change. I find the male answers here very supportive of you, but the female attitude not very supportive. Why is a man obliged to pay for a child he doesn't want, when if a woman wants to abort she can just so without having his autorisation. It works both ways lady. Here this guy wants to abort, so why can't he abort his axcess to this child. The woman involved obviously wants it, so why can't she do it alone. She wasn't taking the pill, fooled him, and why should you pay for it all your life. Yes, I am a man, this is a male point of view, but how can one not agree with this?

She cannot trap you. You can walk away - but at least be
a man and face up to your responsibilities. If you don,t
think the babies yours then you will have to wait and get
DNA test. Until then - she was good enough to sleep with
so treat her with a bit of respect. Look at it from her side.
Her world has been turned upside down and will never be
the same again. So you had better support her the best
you can. You got to do the right thing be her at least.

I'd be having a paternity test done when the baby arrives. If it's yours, do the right thing and provide child support. You had the fun in making it, now have the fun in supporting it. Just goes to show that "safe sex" isn't always safe, HUH???!!! Next time, if you don't want to run the risk of becoming a "daddy," don't diddle around. The only foolproof way to no children is ABSTINENCE.

Doesn't matter if you want the child or not - there is going to be a child and you are responsible for it. It would be best for all concerned if you faced up to your responsibilities and did what was required without having to go through the CSA. You don't have to be involved with this girl, you don't need to be a couple. But, you will be a dad, and you have to support your child. I know it wasn't what you had planned and it will take a while to get used to it, but please, be a man.

Sounds like she really wants to be with you she obviously thought you felt the same at present don't say things like you will support the baby and her make her realise she is on her own on this one
However if she decides to keep the baby you have a moral and legal obligation to the child

A mistake is done. However you need to talk to the girl and make her understand that it would not be responsible to bring a baby into the world, when you can't look after it.
Ask her if she wants to ruin her life & spend the rest of it at home nursing & looking after a baby - she cant afford.
Also after this lesson , make sure you dont get into such a mess again - its not fun n games.

Firstly, you cannot force someone to have an abortion it is their decision not yours.
Secondly if she does keep the baby, you need to be tested to confirm that the child definately is yours before you pay any support for the child.
Thirdly, you will be expected to contribute for the child if it is yours, you have a legal and moral obligation.
Fourthly, you should not be having sex with someone unless you care about them. If you have regular sex with someone and you have been "seein" her as you put it for about 5 months, then that sounds to me like she is your girlfriend and if you "dont c her like that" as you put it then you shouldnt be sleeping with her.
Finally, no contraception form is 100% guaranteed, if you really do not want a baby then dont have sex, its as simple as that!

Get a lawyer and have a DNA test done to determine if you really are the father of this child. Are you the only guy this girl has ever slept with?
