Every time I turn on the TV, or pick up a newspaper, or the tabloid
or turn on my compter, I am seeing, hearing that another celeb has adopted a child from this country or that country ( Not the USA). Celebrities are trying to raise awareness for the plight of others, well why not start at home and work your way outward.
So the adults and children in their own country who are suffering are not worth their time? Are they afraid they will not get as much publicity?
And, they are lending their names and faces to the cause..do they ever pay or just get the rest of the american people who out of goodness of their heart to donate?

i personally think its nice..
i mean here in the u.s. we have TONS of programs that can help people, people can get jobs.. government finical and medial assistance.. a working police force .. homeless shelters.

other people in other countries dont have that advantage. they have NOTHING. i think people in other countries need help more than we do in the u.s.
