I myself am an anime fan, but i can't explain my LOVE for it. Does anyone know WHY people love anime? is it the huge eyes? the horribly small mouth? or the huge boobs?

it's about the characters and the story. We tend to watch and even get addicted to it because we see the art in it. We can follow and relate to the story and join its ride. :)

I don't really know, since I am not a big fan of it. It's probably the cuteness of the characters, and the style of art, that's unlike the more western cartoons.

i dunno it seems to be an anime boom these last few years ive noticed, before that there was like dragonballZ and pokemon lol. so i guess the new boom found a new audience of people that wouldve never seen it before so they like it. i like inuyasha, i like it because of its content of demon ghosts an mystical stuff other types of cartoons dont have even other anime . those animes that are just a bunch of fights scenes an drama im not sure, maybe its the new power rangers lol

simplified and over exaggeration of expressions, same reason why people like disney, simple, clean lines and the exaggeration
