I have lost my sound on my monitor. I checked sound devices and everything looks fine. (hp pavillion a1600n)

The monitor has built in speakers it is also an Hp. Sound was working fine the day before then it just stopped. Volume button and mute button still work.

I have checked an the computer says everything is installed. Furthermore, the computer worked fine since I purchased it three weeks ago.

All of a suddent the sound works without doing anything. I hope it stays.

Have you checked the control panel to see if they are installed correctly, etc.?

check device manager if there are any yellow mark
