I think you find it is Iran 90% Shite. Only 20% was shite in Iraq, but that mix changed because of Sunni arabs leaving because they supported Saddam.

It was stated at the beginning of this war that the population was 30% Shiite, 30% Kurd and 20% Sunni. I haven't the faintest idea of what it might be now with all the killings and refugees fleeing to other countries. The only branch I've heard anything about is the followers of Mugtada Sadr.
