Jamaica now in winter compared to US, is at the same time as Eastern US States such as MD and VA and etc; when the first Sunday in March rolls around the country will be 1 Hour behind Eastern US Standard Time,As day light saving time will take effect.or five hours behind Greenwich mean time,5 time zones behind were the greenwich time zone seperates east from west,eg; In the UK.
Because also Jamaica is further west from the Eastern Carbbean it is 1Hour behind Trinidad and Tobago and the rest of the Eastern caribbean States, this is caused by its Geography of its location.
So its now,10:42 here in Columbia, MD and its also the same time there right now!
