Our sexual desires are directly proportional to the hormones level in our body and as we grow older the hormone level decreases and hence the desire also decreases. That is why though it is universal that we have weaker responses as we grow older it differs from person to person and there are many men above 80 years of age who still have an active sex life.

When you are younger is when you should be sexually developing. Your body is telling you to mate with a women to produce a populous. It develop es faster when we are younger because that is when you hit puberty, it is making you ready to help make life. When you are older your sexual requirements in life are most likely met.
