having light meal in dinner. not taking spicy food, coffee and tea and keeping the mind free from tensions make you get sound sleep.

Try a hot sweet milky chocolate drink just before you go to bed. This works for me.
Cadbury's cocoa powder works well ( make a paste of about 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder with a little milk , add more milk stir and microwave for 1min. milk. Add sugar to taste and a slug of Scotch if you have it.
Combine this with all the other good ideas and you should get a better sleep.

Sure.Age is a criteria. If you are young and having the problem, change of lifestyle will help.Do not sleep in the noon.Have a early dinner.Have 2glasses of warm water before you sleep.Avoid any form of stimulants like coffee, tea, coke,and others.If you older review the medications you are taking. including any of the counter supplements with your Family Physician.Don't forget exercise always helps

close your eyes and relax, think happy thoughts and drift off to sleep. Not to woken up to early keep room dark and quiet, also keep it at a constant temp...
