I guess Prince made a great job. I'm a metal fan, but Prince is really an awesome musician, so gifted, skilled and versatile. I enjoyed the show very much.
ps Prince is almost 50, but he seems to be 30 years old, how can you explain it?

Those who deny Prince's musicianship are only kidding themselves. His performance of "Purple Rain" the other night, with thousands singing along, and the rain pouring down, was more than music or football; that was "a moment".
The only other Super Bowl performance in the league of Prince's was U2's performance, the first Super Bowl following 9/11. That was incredibly moving.

Prince also sang a song from the "Foo Fighters", and mangled it. he couldn't hit the notes.
I agree that Prince is an outstanding musician. very talented. but he should have stayed away from FF.
as for best shows ever, clearly the US performance in SBXXXVI. Unbelievable, for the sentiment of it, and the overall performance.

Not sure many metal fans would agree with your assessment of Prince. Pretty bold move!
Prince was late 80s/early 90s. Not sure why they thought he would be a good choice for a half time show. Plus he sang other people's songs. One was a CCR song, and forget one of the others. And what in the world was he wearing on his head? Only good thing in the show was that Rex Grossman couldn't fumble the ball or throw another interception.

I agree with KevinStud... which ever show ended the quickest was the best ever... these halftime shows should be eliminated... God forbid we get to see some football...
