It seems some people are pushing for the circumcision to be done on the NHS. I was wondering if people thought about that.

No - I agree that it is cosmetic. It is never needed, even medically. Things have advanced and they can fix any medical problem without removing it. they only remove it cause it is easier. Things should stay as they are.

i don't think circumcision should be free or preformed on the nhs if its not for medical reasons.
my son who's now 10 was circumcised at 3 for medical reasons i wouldn't ask for it if its not needed.
the money is better off treating cancer patients ect who don't have a choice.

No. The NHS is struggling to do operations that are medically needed. There are too many people suffering waiting for operations to be thinking about doing unnecessary ops.
If it's not medically needed then surely it's cosmetic?

Circumcision, whether done at birth or later, is a cosmetic surgery, unless medically necessary. If they were to begin offering it free, they would also have to start paying for tummy tucks, face lifts, and nose jobs, among other cosmetic procedures.

No, it's an elective procedure (that every man should undergo; )My sister just had a baby last week and she had to pay cash, upfront to get her baby snipped.
