I don't think so. Though Hillary doesn't want to bring the troops home, she said she wants to pull them out of Iraq and redeploy them to Afghanistan were we are winning!

Some how I just can't imagine FDR saying to Ike "Don't have these men storm the beaches of Europe, redeploy them to North Africa and Italy where we are winning!"

Dude, It is mainstream politics! The norm is to lie and flip-flop. Tell the masses what they want to hear. It is all about getting re-elected not about telling the truth or doing what is right! Both sides do it and I will bet that Obama will as well when he finally gets a little experience. There is only one solution and that is to automatically vote out any incumbent at every opportunity and replace them with someone who represents the will of the voters, not the lobbyists. Hillary will say whatever it takes. Kerry said whatever it took and it wasn't enough, same with Gore, Same with GW Bush Same with Bill and Ted and Carol and Alice. They are politicians. That translates to LIARS in English.

Vote Libertarian and lets get these a s s holes out of our daily lives once and for all

Are there any Republicans who would want to put Bush's surge policy for a vote on the table instead of being the obstructionist party again? I know it's only a non-binding vote, but each Senator will have a chance to vote its conscience on the war effort. That way they can document to their constituencies back home how they truly feel about how their president is doing! Do it now. That way we can have a public record of flip flops and what not.

Neither Obama nor Dean have ever stated that the war was a good idea.

Should people continue to support something that has proven to be bad
just to be consistant?

How can you expect the Democractic congress people of the last
house to vote reasonably if their only intelligence is being carefully
vetted by the Whitehouse? They were told firmly by a President
who was either guessing or lying that there were weapons of mass
destruction.

How can you expect them to maintain their opinions of 4 years ago
when the available information has changed so drastically?

Cut and run will be on the list of banned words next year. How about we just set up permanent bases in Iraq and make it the 51st state. Only repuglican losers still back the war in Iraq, as many of them are questioning the war for oil at this time, and I predict many more will at election time. Democrats have been questioning the president about his decision to go to war, and changing your mind on something with new evidence is not a flip flop.

After Bush fed congress the bogus intel Rummy and Dick came up with, you have the nerve to ask this? They tried to dupe the nation, and you still play the phony field.

Its hard no to, as you put it "flipflop" When we find everything we were told was the truth is nothing but a lie. So what to do? Stick with ideals and decisions made with false facts, or do the smart thing and make new decisions based on the truth?

Sticking with something even when it is proved to be a lie or not working isn't determination.. its stupidity

Well, it certainly is outrageous that anyone wants to keep our soldiers in that war based on lies that has done not one good thing for our nation (but plenty good for bush & co's bank accounts) until '09.
There are many democrats who smartly and patriotically voted against given the idiot manchild bush war powers, and have continued to this day to oppose this horrific war. Surely you know this.
