Power corrupts, but in this instance it has reached unbelievable depths. All the high ideals have vanished, all the hopes that elected them have been shattered, and people were stupid enough to re-elect them a third time...What is the most irritating is the self-righteous attitude. No, they were NOT God given despite what they think!

Blair and the majority of his cronies have brought us all to our knees with their lies and deciept. Of course not all the government members are corrupt but until now the ' goodies' have been kept down by the close corrupt Tony/Gordon gang. Now the ship is sinking fast , the rats will leave and the good moderate guys will survive to help form a good Opposition in the future years. The sooner the better !

I think it is an accepted fact that all governments, government institutions and politicians are corrupt, it is just a matter of how much. On a scale of 1-10, considering world wide governments, I would say it was pretty low. I do not think the British government is as corrupt as, say, some African countries, or even as Russia used to be.

ALL governments lie and are deceitful, they kiss the backsides of the rich and take the rest of us for everything they can. Rules are made for the people with money to help them make more money. I am not sure if that is corruption exactly, I would say it is more because the banks and people who are loaded have the government over a barrel financially.

All governments seem to forget that they have been put there by the people for the people, I guess it is human nature for power to go to ones head and to feather ones own nest.

Very corrupt..just like all the other politicians.
(And people complain about the Royal Family...at least they don't give themselves 40% pay rises and take the pi$$ out of the general public).
Tony and his cronies are in it for themselves, they have set themselves up for the rest of there lives, probably by bleeding the British tax payers dry, I mean...where has all the pension money gone?

All Governments are corrupt, and its about time people woke up to that fact,As for Don Tony and his Moll, they are grabbing the money on the way out, like rats deserting the sinking ship, they truly are repulsive,5 houses now,and all the lecture tours they can handle....And if there are any "Looters" in Britain,it certainly was not the people who helped themselves to a bit of salvage,we all know who the real criminals are,and its staring you right in the face, think about it!

Regrettably, we've come to believe all politicians are corrupt now, thanks to that 'regular sort of guy' who took £squillion from a certain B. Ecclestone within 10 minutes of becoming PM. Yes, I know he gave it back but the die was cast. And anyone who has that gross idiot Prescott as deputy PM, has to have a screw loose. Maybe that's the criterion for becoming PM. At least that other charisma-less boorish Scotsman will be well suited to the job - if he gets it.

I don't think there is a bad enough word to describe New Labour Hypocrisy... you have to hand it to the Blair's though ...they have worked the Human Rights Law ..nicely... He Spins the Laws through Parliament - sells his friends peerages to spin it through the Lords...then Ms Booth takes on as many Asylum seekers as clients to rob the Legal Aid system.. Next thing you know they are buying up London..
