they say the earth is warming up, there will be extreme weather conditions to happen... let's say you are still alive when those things happen.... what if, your country was determined to be the safest place in the whole world (or lets say 20 countries including yours is safe from the rising sea levels, hurricanes, whatever), would you allow other nationalities to migrate to your country as soon as possible?

the people in southeast asia are going to be affected by the rising sea levels...would you welcome them to your borders? what about the people from west europe...do you treat them the same way as you would the southeast asians?

Most people don't have the money or facilities to leave their country.

Most countries would not have the facilities to provide adequately to an influx of thousands let alone millions of refugees. Hurricane Katrina was a perfect example of this.

Having said that i don't think it's anyone's right to dictate who lives and dies. All efforts should be made to preserve as much of our earthly culture as possible. Therefore, allowing an entire society such as Asia or Europe to be lost forever would be grossly irresponsible of the rest of us humans.

From a logical perspective a lottery would be the most fair way to perserve societies and cultures without putting too much strain on the facilities of a particular region.

If there's not enough food to eat than no one survives. Our ultimate goal is to do our best to make sure the human race survives however unlikely.

The best solution is to stop killing the planet so we don't have to worry about all of this.

It would depend on the sustainability of your country. For me it would be about survival. I would let others on to my country but not if it meant the food would run out with all the extras...... it's all about taking care of your own first than if you can take care of others. It's no good offering help to others if it means doom for everyone

I'm not referring to race either. Take care of the people in your country first despite nationality

Seeing how I'm from a rather small country, I don't know how many we could have over. But I'd say save as many as possible.
And I wouldn't treat anybody different on the grounds on where they where from.
