Why is it that kids today have no respect for thier parents, they rued & demanding, always want thier own way. Never willing to see how much thier parents do for them.
I'm 23 & i see people my age, also teenagers & younger - all treating thier parents terrible. I know teenagers go through changes, i was a teenager & i was never rued to my mother, it doesnt matter what happened i always had respect. I would never swear , curse or backchat my mom, some of them even hit thier parents , for me its sad how the youth dont appreciate thier parents. I love my mother & i would never do anything to hurt her, i would give my own life , if it meant she could live. My mother is the best mother in the world, always there for us, providing for us& she is so proud of her kids. She never puts us down, she taught us values & morals that i hope to teach my kids someday, My mother went through the worst in life & she still turned out to be the an amazing mom. I could never repay her,.

I was the same way with my mother. Children nowadays think they are entitled to everything, and as far as I can tell they will be in for a rude awakening if they ever have to provide for themselves, although maybe mom and pop will continue paying for everything

I feel the same way about my Mom. I was raised to have respect for my parents and I don't see that much in today's youth. It makes me wonder what the parents are like. Not that the parents are to blame by any means, but some people weren't as lucky as we were to have good loving parents. I think a lot of times parents are so busy with their own lives and careers that they don't pay enough attention to their kids so ther kids act out looking for that attention. I just know that my parents didn't put up with disrespectful behavior. I think many kids need more discipline in their lives. I just know that I had a level of respect for my parents that meant I didn't want to do anything to dissapoint them. It seems like a lot of kids are just lost and it's a sad statement about families in our society.

I believe every mother tries her best to bring kids up properly but, unfortunately no one can ever predict what every individual is going to turn out like when they become teenagers. There are many reasons of course and we all know that values differ from our own families. There is also the pier group they mix with and other distractions outside the home for young kids these days, which of course takes the focus off the parents discipline. I know of a couple who adored their children and brought them up beautifully until they started secondary school where they were introduced to drugs, the rest was history.

There are many different types of families, today. Here are some statistics to keep in mind:

one million children will see their parents separate or divorce this year; 1.4 million children are being raised by their grandparents;
nearly 500,000 children are in foster care at any one time;
one million children live with adoptive parents.
Encourage them to speak their own mind, and act on what they know to be right even if others don't.

Values are shaped early. By showing concern regarding their behavior and setting limits help to mold their character and ensure that your child's values are ones that you support.
Kids won't have any respect for anyone when the parents don't show it.

Respect in middle school is often difficult to assess for children this age; this is a time of testing limits, raging hormones and mood swings. However, recent zero tolerance policies make being in touch with your child's school and knowing their policy regarding harassment, and intimidation essential. These policies will likely match your own family rules however, it is important to have a talk with middle school age kids to let them know that as they age, the rules regarding certain behavior change becoming less lenient. Letting them know the school rules about sexual harassment and physical intimidation can be useful

Kids need to hear from their parents and need to see you as a good role model for respectful behavior. Avoid racial slurs, and generalizations about people based on their nationality, religion, language, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic. You might be surprised how much your kids will pick up and start repeating themselves. Remind your kids that they deserve respect from others, and if they feel otherwise they should talk to you.

Go give your mom a great big hug and kiss and tell her you Love her. She did a great job!!!!

whats your question.? Not every parent child relationship is brady bunch perfect. If your parents never did anything for you except bring you into the world only to turn around and blame you for their mistakes..then they dont deserve any respect.. In your perfect world yes kids should treat their parents with more respect... but the worlds not perfect.. You should get a copy of a book called " A child called It". It will definatly open your eyes to different levels of parenting.

Dear Farzeen,

I must say thank you for all of your questions.

Regarding killing people in Iraq, Palestine, Iran and most of our muslim countries is not a new to us, coz it is happening since first day of the world.

I have seen some of the children who really cares to their parents, they die for them and some of them are kill their parents just for their sake. No one can do anything for the nature. What ever has mentioned in Quran, definitely it'll happen, no doubt about it.

As we know "WTC in America". this tragdy is also mentioned in Quran that too thousands of years before. You can check it out this in Quran "Al-Tauba" chapt. 11, Sura no. 9 and Ayah no. 108. Most amazing thing is the street name where this twin tower was standing called Gulfnar and this street name is also mentioned in this chapter.

they do what they have learned, and what they should have learned now the time has passed for that. if you keep feeding a child without teaching him how to eat himself or how to walk or do his stuffs, he is never gonna learn them by his own, that is like let a child in a jungle to learn; of course he will grow wild. this is nowhere fault of the kids, but of their parents who only always cared for their kids' wishes to make them true, to give them everything they could, but never watch for their behaviour, and never let them know what is right or wrong at the very begining untill they were ready to differenciate the right and wrong themselves. However, they let their kids learn from their suroundings, without knowing the right and wrong, kids chose what they enjoyed most, or what intertained them, let it be for a very little time.

Parents have given their children too much of everything - especially independence. Parents have created their own problem.
