Can't say for certain. I was planning to go to Lebanon until the recent troubles so did some research into the country.

Public decency laws are quite strict so I should imagine it would attract a comparatively severe punishment.

Public urination is illegal pretty much everywhere so I can't imagine Lebanon would be any different.

oh come on!!
we are a country that loves to make a spectacle of itself, we have been constantly in the world news for the past 30 years, we have done the unthinkable in public we put on the best shows. Why else would we rank first in the world for plastic surgery...

let's face it, we are also outdoor people, go for a walk downtown: people have left their homes to live in tents in "public"!

and you are worried about the poor guy ( I hope it's a guy) taking a small wee in public?
"it's yuck" you're going to say? "it stinks"?
admit: what is yuckier and what stinks more? this or the public statements of our politicians? now these should be illegal.

On a more serious note (and because maybe we should answer your question), it's probably illegal, if not for the pollution for indecency.

YES

it is so in Egypt , at the tree or the fence where they respond to the nature call, the only legalized areas for peeing ..oh man the add natural fertilizers for the trees to grow blossoms! we owe to them! the government should pay for them for helping the agriculture minster! this is why it is completely legal!
just kidding .. never mind my words

How dare you go against Beirut pissers party? don't you know how powerful they are? you piss(!) them off and they don't need to block roads and start fires. they will come and piss at your door.

public urination is considered littering which is illegal, but we need to be fair.
If the goverment ( did I say government? hahahaha there's a goverment!) was to reinforce this law, they should provide public toilets.
I mean walaw? if you gotta go, you gotta go...

Of course it is NOT legal.

Our country is the only country in the Middle East to be named as people they way they dress, talk and everything is so gentle and classy so I don't think it is legal to do that in Lebanon.

KEEP OUR COUNTRY CLEAN ;)

Why do you think perfume and cologne is a big business over there? Because your streets stink with urination and what comes out of your body, and teh perfumes are a good product to disguise the aroma >> ;-)) LOL
