Sweetie,
iPOD is Apple's product & brand for it's portable music player which includes MP3, there are other companies too who make MP3 players with various names, e.g Microsoft Zune.

With the computer hookup, drag the MP3 song from your receipt file or music file into the IPOD file. It is as easy as kissing a pretty girl. Since you can play the tunes with Microsoft Windows Media player, that gives you two mediums for playing the music. I do like your cartoon pic.

If it´s an Apple iPod, you´ll first need to download iTunes from the apple website:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/

And then after you´ve downloaded it, all you´ll need to do is plug in the chord to your computer, and the iTunes window will open and update your iPod for you automatically.

Oh and by the way, if you havent already downloaded the iPod software, then you can also get it at this site:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/

Hope this helps. Good luck. :)
