The Rock has moved on to movies. He makes more money & endures much less pain.

The Rock has gone on to pursue other interests, mainly acting. Look online for a listing of movies and shows he has been on/in. He still considers himself a wrestler, because he would possibly like to come back to wrestling.

Unfortunately for wrestling fans, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has chose to pursue a career in movies. I don't really care for his movies but he's a decent actor-he was a much better wrestler. I don't blame him though, he could make a lot more money acting and get hurt a lot less, not to mention not being on the road 300 days a year.

when Dwayne was asked why he left WWE on an interview, his answer was that in Hollywood he not only makes more money, but also he doesn't put his body on the line every single time, so both valid reasons to leave WWE I guess. And I still love the rock (one of my fave wrestlers, plus a great actor) but leaving WWE... Dunno, sometimes I think of him like a traitor or something. But hey, at least he didn't went to TNA :P

Cause he doesn't want to go back.
After what I've heard he said he is content with making movies and such, though he would consider coming back for a little while if somebody made a good storyline that would give him a good reason to be back in the first place.

He is in Hollywood making movies making more money their than he ever could in WWE. That is why, he is a sellout. He will still make part time stints for the fans but don't expect any big comebacks.

because he knows the human body cannot keep up with that kind of pounding week after week and still be able to move when he hits 40 or 50 never mind when he gets to be of retirement age!
so he is now pursuing acting, where it is a lot easier on his body and he may make more in his bank account too,
why don't we ALL write to him asking him to make a movie about wrestling!!!

rock has became so much rock like stone that he came to join movies to make money to become soft then rock

i see rock coming back with the right storyline but as of right now i dont see it happening. he may say that wrestling in his blood still but right now its in movies.
but it would be cool though if it was movie star vs movie star match with rock vs stonecold
