If so, do you agree with that comparison?

Why do you come to this conclusion?

Life is a dance, I guess. Sometimes you lead the dance, sometimes you dont. Its all about going through the ups and downs we all face and overcoming the obstacles in life.

Did not Garth Brooks make a song about the dance? He could have missed the pain that accompanies life, but then he would have missed the dance. There was also another song years ago about life being like a dance. The word "dance" is ambiguous. In what sense is life a dance? However one construes this whole "life-dance" talk, it appears that we are dealing with a metaphor or simile. As the old song goes, some of the time you lead, at other times you follow. Life is like a dance step in that sense. It is a continual learning process.

i think that there is somewhat of a comparison, in a dance things are sometimes moving fast and in comparison to life its like running around going here then there and being hectic, once the dance slows down, in comparison to life its you taking a break and relaxing that's my belief

Yes I have actually. It's a reference to not fighting with life but flowing with it. Being part of the river is another good way of describing it.
I do agree with the comparison. Try to change the world how "you " want it. You'll find youself in a constant, never ending situatiuon of being upset and miserable. The world could never be your ideal of perfection. Ideals are a figment of your imagination..
What is, is. Reality is the way reality is. Accepting this is "dancing" with reality. Being part of it. Stop seeking to change things. Life is perfect in this moment, it can be no other way.

Well, the closest you can get about "life as a dance" is Shiva's Dance according to Hindu mythology, which has parallelism with modern physics. Shiva is a Hindu god and his divine creation and destruction are symbolised by his divine dance.

Fritjof Capra, a physicist, has drawn parallelism between Shiva's dance and creation and destruction at subatomic level.

Life is a dance also means it takes two to tango. For all the achievements that got you far ahead in life, for all the frustrations, failures and disoderment that got you to plunge down to your downfall, there is always somebody behind you, pulling the strings up for you or pulling it down in contrast.

Yeah... often life is a dance.

A dance in which we learn the steps as we go along performed in public with no "do overs". A dance in which everyone is doing the best that they can.

Dance is a form of Pleasure....We dance when we are happy or dance gives us happiness....Life is like a dance....Like you choose how u want to dance, similarly u choose how u want to njoy ur life....And some people just pretend to dance, seeing others dancing, without njoying or knowing the real pleasure of it...Just become aware of it if u r doin so.....And then u dont have to choose consciously..Ur body just gets tuned to the nature's music....and small things in life will start to give pleasure,as if moving ur body to light music....Njoying it fully....
