Double click on:
My computer (should be on your desktop)
C Drive (possibly Local disk C:)
Windows (folder name)
Web (folder name)
Wallpaper (folder name)

Then find your offending wallpapers and delete!

that's actually the file path to the wallpapers
just copy and paste that to a window's address bar,
OR go to your pc's drive c, in the windows folder, then to the web folder, then to the wallpaper folder
that's prolly where the wallpapers are, according to whoever answered that to you
i recommend just going to the desktop properties window and into the desktop tab, clicking the browse button.
you might find the folder of the recently used wallpaper there, and maybe even the other wallpapers you downloaded

For Windows XP

Go into your Control Panel by first clicking on the Start Button.

Then click on the Control Panel icon located in the right column of the Start Menu.

If your Start Menu is set to the Classic View, then begin by clicking on the Start Button.

Then click on Settings, then click on the Control Panel icon to open up the Control Panel.

Now double click on the Add Remove Programs icon to display the list of all your installed programs.

Then use your mouse to scroll down this list until you see the program you want to remove.

Now highlight that program with your mouse and click on the Remove button just to the right.

Windows will then remove that program from your computer including all system files relating to it.

More often than not Windows will ask you to reboot your system after a program is un-installed.

Whether you are asked to do so or not, you should exit the application and reboot your system.

generally all the Wall Papers are stored in theb c:\windows directory with a .bmp extension.

Go to that folder and right click and arrange the files by type. You will have all the wall paper files in one group. Delete what ever you want to Delete/Remove.

If you still need further clarifications please get back to me.
