How do I get people to stop calling me this?
How can I stop getting people to call me a "sl*ut"?
Bullies from my old school yell that out at me everytime I see them out in public. Its been two years and I feel unsafe and self-conscious everytime I go out alone. I'm 17 and I've never been with a guy, been kissed or stolen someones boyfriend. I wear nice clothes that dont show much skin and i have boundaries, so I would never flirt with someone that is taken, or with a friends ex. I'm so sick of being yelled at and abused. I never reported it at the time, because no-one ever took me seriously, but I wish I could move on, but they just won't let me. What should I do?

Sorry if I've asked a similar question recently, its just that none of them are showing up!

This is one of those things that you have to face and deal with. If there is a way to speak to the bullies and figure out why they are calling you this, you may find out your answer. If this is not an option you'd like to take, than the proper autorities (school principal, counselor, etc.) is who you should be talking to. Keep your head up high and try not to let them get to you. You sound like a wonderful person with proper morals and ethics.

When you are that decent and on top, people will get so jealous and try to pull you down to their level.

Never lower your standards just to fit it. They hate you because you have self respect, something that they don't have, so they hate themselves for it, too.

It's rare that a 17-year-old girl is a virgin and never been kissed. Continue holding out, because if you give in with just anybody, you will regret it for years down the road. And because you are so decent, if you give it up to just anyone, people will talk for the rest of your life.

I'm 21, still a virgin, and still haven't been kissed. I chose it to be this way because I am not impressed with the men in today's time and age. So I am holding out for a man worth waiting for!

just ignore them. and as you are 17, it is time for you to kiss guys and/or girls. you need to forget childish ways and become a woman. and find out how enjoyable that is.
