Sir you should use caution, for you have a sock monster, prone to invisibility, and they are deadly. They survive on eating socks, but only need one per cycle to survive. The only way to rid your self of this dangerous creature is to stop wearing and washing socks, as a matter of fact get all of the socks you have out of your house. I don't put socks, and under garments in the dryer, I just let them dry by itself because those kind of clothes tend to get old and torn easily when you put them in dryer.

Yes..happens to me all the time. Its one of life's great mysteries. My wife explains that my socks are so old that they disintegrate in the dryer and end up in the lint trap.....

Isn't that the pits! Dryers are notorious for that! The best solution, I found is to put them all together in a nylon bag.

Yes, it is so annoying but what can you do. You can dye the left over socks the same color and than you will always have a pair.....lol
