Sir you should use caution, for you have a sock monster, prone to invisibility, and they are deadly. They survive on eating socks, but only need one per cycle to survive. The only way to rid your self of this dangerous creature is to stop wearing and washing socks, as a matter of fact get all of the socks you have out of your house. You never know where it will strike next. Good luck, and Gods Speed.

I don't put socks, and under garments in the dryer, I just let them dry by itself because those kind of clothes tend to get old and torn easily when you put them in dryer.

Isn't that the pits! Dryers are notorious for that! The best solution, I found is to put them all together in a nylon bag.

It is a world wide phenomena. I think there must be a planet out there somewhere "peopled" by socks.
