i HAD an enormous crush on a guy in my class... he WAS perfect in every way for me. recently, i was befriended by a group of girls who were already close and i confided in them that i liked that certain guy. everyday, i would keep them posted on my experiences with him. during a group project i learned through my other friends that one of those girls in the group who had recently befriended me already had a relationship with my ex-crush. needless to say, i was devastated.. i stopped talking to that group of girls and got mad at them.. my question is did i have a right to know about their relationship? because i WAS their friend and i really trusted them..

I don't think that there was any reason for you to get upset with them and stop being their friend...You "LIKED" this guy...it wasn't as if you two were in a commited relationship. and he cheated on you with this girl. I think that if anything you may have been expierenceing a bit of jealousy, because she already climed a mountian that you wanted to treach the top of. If you still like this guy then your best bet would be to be friends with these girls, especially the girl that he already dated. that way if you do get involved with this guy, you can learn first hand of what NOT to do to turn him off, because you are friends with his EX... Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, then smash out the competition...

They may have not known how to tell you or they may have been trying to spare your feelings.

I wouldn't make too much of it. Obviously there are some trust issues here, but you should always be a little bit reserved with people you don't know really well.

I'm sorry you were disappointed, but there are a lot of other guys out there, including some really good ones that are available.

Lick your wounds and move forward.

She HAD a relationship with him, doesn't mean she still likes him. Although you told them you like him, that doesn't mean that girl had to tell you all her past relationships. I'm sorry to say it, but I think you were too harsh. You don't want to loose friends for no reason!

Good luck.

Yeah you had a right to know. I think that you reacted the right way. A friend will prevent a friend form getting hurt, if they didnt help you prevent a bullet they may as well be pulling the trigger.

A "crush" is NOT a relationship, so you had NOTHING going with this guy, so there's NO REASON to be mad at ANYBODY!
